You’ll never tire of touring this delightful area, with its rolling countryside, magnificent views, coves and harbours, it makes for fantastic Devon holidays. Brixham Harbour is within walking distance with its ever-changing scene of graceful yachts, deep-sea trawlers and busy local fish market. Children can try their hand at crabbing in the many Rock Pools, also visit the Berry Head Country Park with its Napoleonic Fort, with this much to see.
Torbay which incorporates Brixham, Paignton and Torquay offers you a wonderful selection of various entertainments. You can visit the famous ‘Model Village’ at Babbacombe, enjoy a nostalgic trip through coastal and woodland scenery on the spectacular “Dart Valley Steam Railway” or enjoy a day at the zoo.
From Brixham take a sea trip up the river Dart or across the bay to Torquay. A short drive away is the rugged grandeur of Dartmoor.

Beaches
Breakwater Beach (Brixham) European Blue Flag 2007
Shingle beach right next to the breakwater with ample parking. Swimming safe with care, toilets, cafe and beach shop. This is a popular beach for divers.
Churston Cove (Brixham)
Sand and shingle beach with steep footpath access from Churston or Fishcombe. Dogs allowed, swimming safe with care. A popular picnic stop for yachts and a good spot to try snorkeling.
Fishcombe Cove (Brixham)
Sand and shingle beach with limited parking, dogs allowed, swimming safe with care, toilets, cafe and deckchair/sunbed hire.
Shoalstone Beach (Brixham)
A shingle and rock beach right next to Brixham's outdoor seawater pool. parking, swimming safe with care, dogs allowed, toilets, cafe and deckchair/sunbed hire.
St Mary's Bay (Brixham)
A quiet sand and shingle beach with footpath access from the car park. No toilets or cafe. A great detour from a walk along the coast path. Beautiful viewpoint from Sharkham Point above the beach, south along the coast path towards Dartmouth.
